So today was my birthday! It was awesome! I want to thank everyone in this little birthday collab video, Laura Ashley, Leia, Caleb, Keegan, Arnaud, Tyler Hamway, Greg, and of course Carrie! And it was edited by none other than our very own Magical Matthew.

This week’s Website Of The Week is the SomethingStore.com. A few months ago Magic Matt introduced me to this site, and I thought “wow this is the stupidest thing I have ever seen in my life”. Well a few months later I went back and thought differently.
In my opinion, this is one of the coolest stores out there. I’m sure you are wondering though, “what the heck is it?” Well this store is unlike any other store you have ever heard of. You pay $10 and you are sent a completely random item in the mail. Now you’re probably thinking “well that’s dumb what if you get ripped off,” well you won’t. There are many things that the Something Store will not send you, including adult goods/services, alcohol, body parts, offensive goods, and many other inappropriate ‘somethings’. You can get a full list of what they will not give you here. They have given out many awesome ‘somethings’ such as Bluetooth headsets, AA battery chargers, iTunes gift cards, make up kits, video games, webcams, watches, and more. You can see a list of the last 100 ‘somethings’ sent in the last 25 days here.
And yes, I have bought from the Something Store. They were great. I got my something in the mail about 1 week after ordering, and my something was very nice. I got a nice pair of gloves (pictured below.)

On Sunday, January 19th, 2009, the Jonas Brothers did a live broadcast on Justin.tv. I was selected, as well as a few Justin.tv community members, by the Justin.tv Community Manager, Tia Marie, to help moderate the chatroom. Some of you may have seen me, some of you may not have seen me. I was mainly in the overflow rooms making sure everyone was behaving themselves. After the broadcast, I went live to see what everyone thought of their broadcast. From what I heard, many people believed that last years cast was more exciting because this year’s broadcast seemed to be based on promoting their new 3-d movie.
Even though it may have not been what many of the Jonas Brother fans were expecting, I think that it was awesome for them to broadcast on Justin.tv, my favorite broadcasting site, rather than having their own system built for them.
This week Matt and I officially announced the return of the Austin Prime and Magic Matt show, formally seen on Stickam.com. We decided that the new show would be on Justin.tv rather than Stickam because Justin.tv’s quality and community are extremely higher and more friendly. We are still working on what days the show will be and what times they will be. We hope to have undiscovered artists, website owners, actors, etc. on the show. We will also be making signs at the end of our shows for our viewers!
Lastly, I am now broadcasting my bedroom whenever I am in it. Some of you may know Dylan Live who broadcasts his life wherever he goes 24/7. Well, unfortunately due to money constraints and my interests I will not be lifecasting my life, however I think broadcasting my room is exciting enough since I live in my room!

Late last night, it became official that Laura Ashley will now be DJing on Fly 104.9 as well as myself and Magic Matt. We are ecstatic that the station is back up and operating like it used to be! You can listen on the Radio page of my blog!
Today was a crazy day!
In Biology we got to watch this sick nasty National Geographic video about this guy getting a tumor removed from his head. I’m not gonna lie, it was very interesting… but disgusting at the same time! You could hear the drill drilling through his skull! NASTY!
When I got home from school, the power was out. I was mad. So I decided I would go with my mom to the mall and Target. nothing really exciting there. So, when we returned home around 4:00 pm est, the power was back on, but these Dominion Power trucks (pictured below) were still parked all round our house. Apparently there is a power thing out in the woods behind our house. My mom said she has never seen them come back there since we have lived here, so it must have been major!
