The other night I was broadcasting with DJ Remedy (Drew) on Justin.tv and we were having a call in show where people could call in and sing for all of our 600+ viewers. We discovered that many of the Justin.tv members have absolutely no talent, including ourselves!
Thankfully the callers that were no good were not the only callers. A great singer named Steven Shega called in and sang some Josh Groban and The Fray! Enjoy these clips made from the show.
In my last blog entree I was talking about my ‘roomcast’. Well, the other night I had a little fun watching a scary movie called “What Lies Beneath.” A few people in the chat also watched the movie at the same time as I did. Well, I think my chatroom had fun watching my reactions to the movie. Justin.tv has a great feature that records your broadcasts and allows the viewers to make clips of their favorite parts. Summerbreeze made this funny clip of me freaking out to one of the scary parts of the movie.
Also the lovely screen shot at the top of this blog post was taken by kg_loves_k2. So, this is why I broadcast my life when I am at home. Some pretty interesting things happen! Check out my Justin.tv channel here.

On Sunday, January 19th, 2009, the Jonas Brothers did a live broadcast on Justin.tv. I was selected, as well as a few Justin.tv community members, by the Justin.tv Community Manager, Tia Marie, to help moderate the chatroom. Some of you may have seen me, some of you may not have seen me. I was mainly in the overflow rooms making sure everyone was behaving themselves. After the broadcast, I went live to see what everyone thought of their broadcast. From what I heard, many people believed that last years cast was more exciting because this year’s broadcast seemed to be based on promoting their new 3-d movie.
Even though it may have not been what many of the Jonas Brother fans were expecting, I think that it was awesome for them to broadcast on Justin.tv, my favorite broadcasting site, rather than having their own system built for them.
This week Matt and I officially announced the return of the Austin Prime and Magic Matt show, formally seen on Stickam.com. We decided that the new show would be on Justin.tv rather than Stickam because Justin.tv’s quality and community are extremely higher and more friendly. We are still working on what days the show will be and what times they will be. We hope to have undiscovered artists, website owners, actors, etc. on the show. We will also be making signs at the end of our shows for our viewers!
Lastly, I am now broadcasting my bedroom whenever I am in it. Some of you may know Dylan Live who broadcasts his life wherever he goes 24/7. Well, unfortunately due to money constraints and my interests I will not be lifecasting my life, however I think broadcasting my room is exciting enough since I live in my room!
